Former Dover Mayor to run for council
Former Dover Mayor James Hutchinson wants to run for Dover City Council and the seat currently being held by Council President Kenneth Hogan.
Hutchinson says his primary campaign issues will be Dover’s budget and how taxpayer money is being spent. Hutchinson was first elected mayor in 1994. He was the first person to hold the job full time. He left the office in 2004. He says he is looking forward to the April 19th election. He conceeds campaigning has changed in 15 years. He says he even has a Facebook page to go with his campaign.
Dover’s 1st district is mainly made up of the city’s west side.
