Meteorological winter may only be 10 days old, but Mother Nature clearly means business.
A storm threatens for Saturday, possibly delivering a brief period of snow or a wintry mix before changing over to plain rain, according to an AccuWeather.com report.
“Only if the storm were to turn more to the east, would cold air hang on longer and allow heavy snow to linger near the coast,” the report notes.
But with the potential storm still days away, the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly advises in its latest forecast discussion to “stay tuned.”
