Folks crowd Germantown Avenue for 2nd annual Mt. Airy Street Fare

Street Fare returned to Mt. Airy on Thursday night with more than 50 gourmet food trucks, crafts vendors and live music. Stationed along the Germantown Avenue between Sedgwick and W. Mt. Airy Avenue hosted about 14,000 people.

The variety of food trucks served up Korean, Polish, Brazilian, French, Italian and many more types of cuisine to Philly foodies.

Live music was keeping the crowds grooving with not two music stages and local bands such as Deb Callahand Band, The Gin Canaries, Akil Dasan and more.

Anuj Gupta, the executive director of Mt. Airy USA says the event, which started out as a part of Food Trust’s Night Market, really highlights all that the community as to offer.
