Five officers names 8th District Officer of the Month
The 8th Police District’s April PDAC meeting was held on Wednesday, April 6. As usual, the membership came out in great numbers to partner with our police. At this meeting, five police officers were honored with Officer of the Month awards. Presentations were made by PDAC President, Mr. Harry Sonntag, supported by his executive board and TD Bank representatives.
The five officers were: James Boccalupo, James Snyder, Dimitrios Loizos, John Schmidt and John Seymour. In addition to the PDAC award, the officers were also presented with citations and honors from the offices of City Councilman Brian O’Neill, State Representatives Brendan and Kevin Boyle, and State Sen.Michael Stack.
The guest speaker was Deputy Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel, Regional Operations Command – South and PDAC Liaison to the Commissioner, who charmed the audience with his personality, warmth and wit.
