First Night is family fun
The City of Dover is ready to help ring in the New Year with its annual First Night. The New Year’s Eve celebration takes place on Friday, Dec. 31st from 3 p.m. until midnight.
The alcohol-free event begins with afternoon performances geared for children and continues into the evening with entertainment for all ages. The fun takes place all over the downtown area, culminating with a musical midnight fireworks display on Legislative Mall.
The cost is $15. Children 10 and under are free when accompanied by a button-wearing adult.
