The fire on Pleasure Avenue near 91st Street in the southern end of the municipality broke out shortly before 6 a.m., authorities say.

WPVI reported that the blaze destroyed two houses and damaged a third, although officials have not yet confirmed the extent of destruction.
Videos and pictures from social media showed firefighters still spraying water on the structures hours later.

Emergency personnel from the surrounding area responded to the scene. No serious injuries were reported.
An investigation is ongoing.
