Fire damages home on Park Lane in Northwest Philadelphia

A major fire broke out in home at 655 Park Lane Sunday night around 9 p.m. The fire engulfed two floors of the home before the Philadelphia Fire Department brought the fire under control by 9:30 p.m. No one injuries were reported. 

Fire officials on scene declined to comment on the cause of the fire. Nearby residents were saddened by the sight of what appeared to be the body of a pet being taken out of the unit.
