FBI in search of Somerton bank robber
Police in the 7th District and the FBI are looking for the man who robbed a Somerton bank July 26.
With a mask on his face, the suspect walked into the First Niagra Bank Branc h at 11730 Bustleton Ave. around 9:30 a.m., stated he had a bomb and demanded money.
Authorities are now looking for a black male around 30 years of age. He’s about 6’5″ and was wearing all black at the time of the robbery. Tips on his whereabouts can be made online, at 215.686.TIPS (8477) or by texting PPD TIP (773847).
