Everyone okay out there?
If you’re reading this, that means you didn’t get buried or blown away in the storm today. It was our first big winter event, and I hope you were caught a little less off guard than I was. It took a while and eventually a call to someone more knowledgeable than me to recall that the snow shovel was stored in a neighbor’s shed.
Later, a wet-ankled walk through a very quiet Philadelphia provided some interesting scenes. The campus of Philadelphia University was silent in almost a post-apocalyptic way, and ours were the only tracks in the snow.
