Emergency drill set for Newark airport

Officials say an emergency drill at Newark Liberty International Airport is not expected to delay flight operations.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey says Saturday’s drill will allow airport and local emergency responders to train together.

The agency says the public might see numerous emergency vehicles and simulated smoke at the airport between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
