Eight winners in design college’s egg drop project

Your work day is not this fun. Delaware College of Art and Design students were cracking up yesterday as they launched eggs from the roof. It wasn’t a science experiment; it was all for the sake of design.

WHYY’s Shirley Min was there as eggs splattered on the asphalt despite the students’ best efforts to protect them. But seeing as it’s a design contest, students were graded mostly on the looks of their projects, which ranged from simple to intricate. One condition: no glue allowed.
