Early morning car crash leaves two in critical condition

Philadelphia Police say a car flipped over on the 3000 block of Abbottsford Ave. in East Falls early this morning, leaving the driver and passenger seriously injured. 

Police Spokeswoman Jillian Russell said the accident happened around 3:45 a.m. as the car was traveling northbound on the Roosevelt Expressway near the Wissahickon exit.

The two people were taken to Einstein Hospital and are in critical condition.

There is no report yet on how the crash occurred. Philadelphia Police are still investigating.
