Fatal stabbing at Center City Macy’s alarms many

Chester Township police were notified on January 14, 2025, of a suspected child abuse case at Chester Community Charter School.

Officers confronted the man on the 1600 block of Moore Street after he was seen walking with a rifle. The man is hospitalized in critical condition; no officers were injured.

The guard who was killed has been identified as 27-year-old Eric Harrison.
