Dog of the Week: Zoro

Zoro (A#12264541) is a 1-2 year-old handsome brindle boy found alone in Southwest Philadelphia. When Zoro came to the shelter he was super friendly. He is becoming more timid and needs an adopter or a foster family now. Zorro had no issues with any basic or advanced handling as he was just happy to receive the attention. No issues with his food test, and he showed some interest in cats and seemed friendly with them.

He was tested with other dogs a large female and large male. He did fine with the female, who was very calm. He did OK with the male but did seem a bit uncomfortable with his high energy level. If you have children under 10 or your own dogs at home, please bring them to meet this cutie.

The recent raids from dog fighting operations across the city has Animal Care and Control at its capacity so time is running out for the great dogs being sheltered there. Please help save a life by adopting or fostering an animal today. Zoro would make a great new family member who will be forever thankful to you for saving him.

These animals are located at Philadelphia’s animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care.
