Dog of the Week: Missy

Missy (A14345370) is a quiet 7- to 8-year-old chihuahua mix who came back to ACCT after being a bit snippy with her previous owner’s children — she just doesn’t want to constantly be picked up by children!

Missy does seem to have relaxed a bit since her quarantine has been up, and will even give tail wags and solicit attention.

She needs someone who will be patient with her, and let her have her space when she wants it! Will you be the one to spoil her rotten?

Missy cannot go to a home with children under 18.

These animals are located at Philadelphia’s animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care. ACCT is located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave. and is open 365 days a year. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday; 1pm-8pm; Saturday and Sunday; 10am-5pm. To check the status of an animal, call 267-385-3800. Check in every week with NEast Philly to see the cat and dog of the week.
