Dog of the Week: Bush

Hello everybody! My name is, Bush! I know I know, there have been these two other guys with the same name who stirred up some things in this world. I am different, though. The only thing I am campaigning for is your love. Give me a minute to tell you why I am the right guy for you:

I am a 1- to 2-year-old terrier/retriever mix. I have gorgeous black fur, and weigh approximately 43 pounds. I am quite handsome – if I may so myself.

I was found as a stray roaming around trying to find someone to take me in. Luckily, the people from the shelter came and got me and now I have a second chance to find happiness!

I am extremely excited to meet new people, so I tend to pull a little when walking on my leash. What can I say? I LOOOOOVE PEOPLE! After just a short amount of time with the trainers at the rescue, I am already doing better in containing my excitement to interact with two-legged friends.

The best part is that I passed my advanced handling test, my food aggression test and even my cat test! I did really well with my dog meets as well. And I am pretty house-trained too. So you won’t have to worry about any accidents.

Please come take me for a walk and get to know me! I desperately need someone to rescue me from the shelter. I promise to be a great pet if someone gives me a chance! Look at how well I sit for a treat. Can you resist my smile? No? Then come on down to ACCT and save my life…today!

Bush is up to date on all of his shots, he is microchipped and will be neutered when you take him home … forever!
