Delaware’s healthy workforce

Delaware Governor Jack Markell kicks off the DelaWELL Wellness Champion program today in Dover.

In its second year, DelaWELL encourages healthy practices among state employees to improve wellness, morale, productivity and service, in an effort to reduce absenteeism and turnover.

This afternoon’s kickoff at 1pm takes place inside DNREC Auditorium, R&R Bldg, 89 Kings Highway, Dover.

The Governor will also recognize three outstanding champions from last year’s program who his office says went above and beyond to mobilize participation in DelaWELL.
