Delaware waives EZ Pass transponder fee for the holidays
Timed to coincide with the busy holiday travel season, the Delaware Department of Transportation will give a free EZ Pass transponder to anyone opening a new account.
The giveaway starts Nov.1, and will run through the end of the year. An EZ Pass transponder usually costs $25. “By offering this free transponder for each new account, we are providing users with the opportunity to take advantage of this wonderful resource, while also ensuring that we keep our toll facilities throughout the state running efficiently,” says Jennifer Cohan, director of the Delaware DMV.
