Delaware “Operation Cookie Drop Off” enters final days
A volunteer effort to bring some of the comforts of home to military members serving overseas this holiday season is wrapping up this weekend.
Operation Cookie Drop Off welcomes donations of home-baked or store-bought cookies, brownies or fudge(!) as well as assistance to offset the costs of postage. Also any supplies such as bubble wrap, cookie tins and large sturdy boxes may be contrubuted. Baked goods and other donations are being today and tomorrow at Cape Henlopen Wicker, 18422 Coastal Highway, Lewes, and Saturday at American Legion Post 28, 31768 Legion Road, Millsboro, and Seaford VFW Post 4961,l 9767 Middleford Road.
