Delaware gas prices continue to drop

Gas is retailing in Delaware for an average price of $3.21 a gallon, down about three cents from a week ago.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says fueling up in the First State is about seven cents cheaper than the national average, but gas in Delaware still costs about a dime more per-gallon compared to New Jersey.  Prices at the pumps have been falling in recent weeks.  According to AAA Mid-Atlantic Public Affairs Specialist Jana Tidwell, “as the year-end holidays approach, motorists wonder if the downward trend will continue and the good news, according to analysts, is gas prices will continue to level off in the coming weeks before reaching a price bottom at some point during the winter when demand is typically low.”  You can shop around for gas prices in your town or neighborhood with AAA’s Fuel Finder.
