Delaware County prosecutor charged with hit-and-run

Police have charged a now-former Delaware County assistant district attorney with the hit-and-run that injured a teenager.

Michael Donohue resigned from his position when police found the vehicle he was reportedly driving during the crash, the Delaware County Times reports. He faces charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless driving and accidents involving death or personal injury for the Nov. 4 hit-and-run that left a 14-year-old skateboarder with a brain bleed and hip fractures.

Witness accounts have Donohue drinking before the crash and talking on his cell phone during it. He has not been charged with DUI.
