Del. State hosts prayer breakfast

Prayers for the community this morning at Delaware State University.  DSU President Harry Williams hosts his second annual Prayer Breakfast on the Dover campus today.  This year’s theme is “Family, Friends, Faith: Bridging Our Communities.  The event will be held in the Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center at DSU.  The gathering will hear from Rev. Rita Paige, pastor of the historic Star Hill AME Church near Camden.  Paige is the daughter of Dr. Luna Mishoe, who served as president of what was then known as Delaware State College for 27 years from 1960 to 1987.
