Coatesville City Council President says it’s time to resign

The Daily Local News reports Coatesville City Council President Karl Marking has said it’s time he resigns his position.

According to the report, Marking admitted he was frustrated with members of the city’s administration and fellow council members, and feels he has accomplished all he can in his current role.

“Clearly, my vision for the city is the odd vision out,” he told the Daily Local News.

The Daily Local News says Marking emailed his letter of resignation on Thursday to the City Manager.
