Co-op powered pledge drive

WHYY’s winter membership drive got a big helping hand on Wednesday from several of Philadelphia’s food co-ops. Members from Weavers Way, South Philly Food Co-op, Kensington Community Food Co-op, Swarthmore Food Co-op, CreekSide Co-op and the Energy Cooperative took pledge calls for several hours. Many of WHYY’s employees and listeners are members of all of these organizations. Everyone at WHYY would like to thank everyone who came out to help us raise the money needed to keep public radio going.
