Cat of the Week: Mickey

MICKEY (A14573646) Another super senior! Meet Mickey, a wonderful longhaired black and white boy who was surrendered due to the health of his owner.

Mickey is 17 years old. Can you imagine living your whole life with your person and then having to come to a stressful place like an animal shelter?

Mickey is sad and reserved in his cat house. Who wouldn’t be? With his world turned completely around, Mickey is putting on a brave face, but it is tough. He is also coming down with a cat cold, which makes him super urgent!

Thanksgiving and Christmas are typically favorite holidays for cats: turkey on Thanksgiving and presents at Christmas!

Mickey has already spent one holiday in the shelter…can you save him and give him the Christmas he deserves? Please save this older guy today.

These animals are located at Philadelphia’s animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care. ACCT is located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave and is open 365 days a year. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday; 1pm-8pm; Saturday and Sunday; 10am-5pm. To check the status of an animal, call 267-385-3800. Check in every week with NEast Philly to see the cat and dog of the week.
