Cat of the Week: Lacey

LACEY (A15616608) Lovely calico girl Lacey was surrendered to the shelter due to her owner’s health problems.

It seems that Lacey wasn’t in the best of shape either, as she arrived quite overweight and completely matted! Luckily, Lacey received a glam haircut by the shelter, and is now tressed to impress!

Upon arrival, Lacey seemed to be a very shy girl- for about a minute! It took less than 60 seconds for Lacey to melt into a volunteer’s hands, purring and rolling around in happiness!

This 5- to 10-year-old girl needs a healthy diet, some physical activity (laser pointer, perhaps?) and a lap to curl up on after her workouts! Spring has officially arrived – if you’re looking for a diet buddy to help keep you on track, Lacey is the girl for you!

These animals are located at Philadelphia’s animal control shelter, ACCT. They need immediate adoption or foster care. ACCT is located at 111 W Hunting Park Ave. and is open 365 days a year.
