The massive hunting, fishing and outdoor store will hire 250 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees to run its newest location adjacent to the Christiana Mall.

The hiring effort is now underway with applications currently being accepted online.  Interviews will be held Jan. 13-17 at the Sheraton Wilmington South Hotel in New Castle.

“Cabela’s is thrilled to bring a retail location to Delaware,” said Mike Adlesh, general manager for the new store.  “We are looking for candidates equally excited to deliver Cabela’s legendary customer service to the thousands of loyal Cabela’s customers in the region.”

The 110,000 sq. ft. store is nearing completion across the parking lot from the Christiana Mall and is easily visible from I-95.  The store will be the company’s first foray into Delaware and is being built with Cabela’s “next-generation” layout.  It will feature what the company says will be “museum quality” wildlife displays, plus a gun library and a fudge shop among other amenities.
