Blood Bank hosts blood drive to commemorate 9/11

The Blood Bank of Delmarva is hosting a special blood donation drive this weekend to commemorate 9/11.

As part of the “Days of Remembrance” blood bank branches will be open through the weekend. The donation drive is designed to recreate the overwhelming willingness of Delawareans to roll up their sleeves and donate blood on September 11, 2001, and in the following days. You can find details about when various branches will be open on the Blood Bank of Delmarva website.
