Big names lead poverty forum at DSU

National names bring Poverty Tour to Delaware State University.

Syndicated radio host and political commentator Tavis Smiley will join internationally known Princeton professor Cornel West at DSU for a town hall-style forum as part of their Poverty Tour 2.0.  The event is designed to highlight the scope of poverty in America and encourage lawmakers to make the issue a bigger part of the political dialogue.

The forum is free and open to the public.  It starts at 8 p.m. at DSU’s Memorial Hall Gymnasium.
