Bicyclist struck by truck in East Falls
A 23-year-old male is in critical condition after being struck by a Chevy truck while riding his bicycle in East Falls on Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the truck was turning onto the 3800 block of Vaux Street off of Midvale Avenue around 4:30 p.m. when it struck the biker as he was coming off the sidewalk.
The victim suffered head trauma after hitting the windshield of the car. He was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
No charges have been filed against the truck driver.
