Fantastic Fridays @ Penn Treaty Park
Friday, August 17, 6:30pm. Penn Treaty Park, 1199 N. Delaware Avenue. Free Friday night concerts return to Penn Treaty Park this month. This week Rockfish will perform. Bring a picnic and plan to stick around after the concert to see the fireworks from Penn’s Landing at around 9:15pm. Free.
Beach Bonanza + Mobile Food
Saturday, August 18, 3-10pm. Piazza at Schmidts, 1050 N. Hancock Street. The Shore meets the Piazza on Saturday, complete with kiddie pools, boozy beachy drinks, and balloon artists. The Mobile Food Association corralled several of its popular vendors – Foo Truck, Gigi and Big R, Lil Dan’s, Mini Trini, Say Cheese, Sweetbox, Mompop, and more. Pay as you go.
26th Annual Caribbean Festival
Sunday, August 19. Noon-8pm. Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, Columbus Boulevard and Chestnut Street. Island culture comes to Penn’s Landing with a celebration of music, art, foods, and fashion from 14 Caribbean islands. Free.
