Atlantic City to hold its first food truck festival
‘Tis the season for food truck happenings and the Jersey Shore gets in on the fun with the inaugural Atlantic City Food Truck Festival on June 11 and 12. The food trucks will be in Brighton Park, between the Claridge Hotel and the Boardwalk.
The two-day event will feature 14 food trucks from the region, including Wahlburgers, Empanada Guy, My Four Suns (Korean) and Bonjour Creperie. The rain or shine event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey.
Philadelphia celebrity chef, Brian Duffy, best known for his regular spots on Spike TV’s “Bar Rescue” television show, will be giving a cooking demonstration.
Live music will accompany the grub all day and attendees over age 21 will also be able to enjoy an outdoor wine, beer and spirits garden.
There will be a Kids Zone with games, face painting, crafts and plenty of kid-favorite foods (hot dogs, chicken tenders, ice cream).
Picnic tables will be available for dining, but festival goers are welcome to bring their own seating. Sorry, no pets.
Admission is free.
Saturday, June 11, noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday, June 12, noon to 6 p.m. – Brighton Park, Atlantic City, NJ.
