Temple University and four other Philadelphia-area colleges are closing ahead of Pope Francis’ arrival in the city next month.

Temple announced Monday that the school’s campuses would shut down on Sept. 25.

The Community College of Philadelphia, Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania are also planning to close. Rutgers University’s campus in Camden, New Jersey, will also shut down.

Pope Francis will be in Philadelphia Sept. 26-27 at the conclusion of the World Meeting of Families. He’s expected to draw huge crowds in the city.
