AIA Philadelphia opens another bookstore

While big book stores struggle to stay open, Philly scored another independent.

At the corner of 7th and Sansom Streets, AIA Philadelphia opened a second bookstore in October, expanding its operations from the Center for Architecture at 1218 Arch Street. The new store will be operated in collaboration with the Charter High School for Architecture and Design. The Washington Square location will have the same mix of design books and quirky gifts as the flagship store at the Center for Architecture. Just in time for a little holiday shopping. (Hint hint.)
