Philly street paving coming soon

Wondering when your street’s going to be paved?

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, his top transportation and streets staff and the city’s Congressional delegates will Monday afternoon announce details of the city’s street repaving program – financed in part by $12.7 million in federal economic recovery dollars. This money greatly enhances the $2 million in federal and City funds that were already slated for road resurfacing.

The press conference will take place at 2nd Ave. and W. Champlost Street – one of the blocks slated for repair.
