PennFuture: Urge Congress to invest in a clean, healthy future

With the new Congress sworn in, and President-elect Obama already in Washington negotiating, relief for Pennsylvania’s citizens, economy and environment could be available within a few weeks. Intending to create jobs and spur the economy, the package will undoubtedly provide tax cuts for businesses and workers, as well as help to those facing home foreclosures.

Your help is needed to make sure that the package also makes critical investments to create jobs; fixes our aging roads, bridges and sewage systems; invests in public transit; revitalizes our cities and towns and makes the United States more energy independent.

Take action now by sending a letter to your Member of Congress asking her/him to support a stimulus package that puts America on the right track towards creating a clean environment and a healthy economy.
