600 block Walnut Lane / Henry Ave. – complainant said two men approached him at around 1:10 a.m April 9 and robbed him at gunpoint. Offenders ran off with a Nike back pack, iPhone and $300. There were no injuries reported.

March 28, 2011

4100 block Lauriston St. – four wheels and tires stolen from a 2010 Infiniti between 2 p.m. March 27 and 2:30 a.m. March 28. Complainant said he found his car sitting on the ground at the location.

7100 block Wises Mill Rd. / Forbidden Drive – Blackberry cell phone, iPod, Garmin GPS and a wallet containing credit cards and a drivers license stolen from a 2007 Audi A-4. Complainant said the items were taken between 7:30-8:30 p.m. March 28. She added that someone charged $26 to a credit card at a BP station in North Philadelphia.

March 29, 2011

4300 block Main St. – two men robbed A.I. Poland Jewelers at gunpoint at around 10:30 a.m. March 29. The store’s owner said one of the offenders entered the business, pulled out a black handgun and ordered an employee to go to the back of the property, where the complainant was. The offender then tied both of them up and contacted his partner to enter the store. The two offenders then started stealing items. Afterwards, they returned to the back of the store, where they struck the owner in the head with the side of the gun. The employee was not harmed. Shortly after the heist, witnesses told police they saw a car speeding away from the store. Police then spotted the driver and passenger exiting the car and dashing down an alley. Jewelry – more than $50,000 worth – the owner’s handgun and a wallet were found in the car’s trunk. The owner went to the hospital for the injuries he sustained to his head.

200 block Paoli Ave. / Cliff Rd. – complainant said a man driving a white van pulled in front of her car, jumped out and told the complainant to get into his car. When the complainant refused, the offender showed her the handgun that was resting in his waistband. Complainant said she drove off. She said the man has followed and harassed her several times before.

March 30, 2011

4200 block Manayunk Ave. – complainant said someone broke into Pat’s Place and stole more than $3,800 between 8:40 p.m. March 29 and 7:10 a.m. March 30. Complainant said the offender took the money from a white cardboard box and a register inside the grocery store. Video cameras at the location were not working at the time of the incident.

4400 block Pechin St. – a Roxborough High School student said fellow students grabbed him and stole his Apple iPod. Complainant said the offenders fled after the 3 p.m. incident. No injuries were reported.

March 31, 2011

8500 block Henry Ave. – a security officer at Kohl’s department store said that someone stole six pairs of jeans from the store at around 7 p.m. March 31. Complainant said he tried to stop the offender at the door, but the offender fled.

April 1, 2011

3000 block Dawson St. – gold jewelry and a jar of coins stolen from the property. Complainant said she noticed the items missing April 1, but believes they were taken sometime in February. She said her son had friends over then while she and her husband were away.

9100 block Forbidden Drive – Dell laptop and charger, Droid phone charger, iPod charger, earphones and several credit cards stolen from a 2005 Dodge Stratus. Complainant said someone broke the right front window and took the items at around 5:40 p.m. April 1.

April 2, 2011

4200 block Cresson St. / Rector St. – two GPS devices and a book bag containing books were stolen from three cars between 9 p.m. April 1 and 4:30 p.m. April 2. The items were taken from a 1998 Toyota Camry, a 2000 Toyota Solara and a 2010 Nissan Murano.

3700 block Main St. – a store manager at CVS Pharmacy said that two offenders stole numerous hygiene items at around 3:30 p.m. April 2.  The offenders then fled the store and hopped into a green SUV. Two photos of the offenders were shot and taken to the Northwest Detectives Division.

April 3, 2011

4200 block Main St. – complainant said someone stole her purse containing a Droid cell phone and $25, among other things, while at Venice Island Recreation Center. She said the item was taken sometime between 12:15-12:30 a.m.

April 4, 2011

300 block Domino Lane – 1999 Chevy Blazer stolen between 2 p.m. April 1 and 4:30 p.m. April 4. The owners of Keller’s Auto Body said someone took the car from his shop, where it was taken for repairs March 28.

7500 block Ridge Ave. – an employee at Jim’s Auto Service said a fellow employee stole his 2004 Chrysler Sebring at gunpoint. Complainant said the offender accused him of stealing money and punched him several times after he refused to take a Polygraph test. The offender then pointed a gun at the complainant, who handed over his keys after the offender demanded he hand them over. The car was gone when the complainant returned to work the next day.

8500 block Henry Ave. – a center director at Jenny Craig said someone stole just over $1,000 from the location’s safe. Complainant said the incident occurred between 1 p.m. April 2 and 11:30 a.m. April 4. There are other employees who have access to the safe.

April 6, 2011

400 block Gerhard St. – the principal at William Levering School said a student struck him in the head with a metal file tray. Complainant said the student was upset that he would not return her cell phone. The offender began throwing things around the main office, including the file tray. No injuries were reported. The offender was gone before police arrived. Complainant said he does not plan to press charges.

April 7, 2011

3700 block Cresson St. – 2004 Honda motorcycle stolen between 11 p.m. April 6 and 7 a.m. April 7. Complainant said someone stole the bike from the sidewalk in front of his residence. Complainant said the bike had a flat tire and a dead battery at the time.

April 8, 2011

5800 block Henry Ave. – 2002 Honda Accord stolen between 9-9:30 p.m. April 8. Complainant said he was inside Murphy’s Tavern at the time. The car also contained a wallet, a bucket of electrical tools and a radio.

300 block Leverington Ave. – 2002 Honda Civic stolen between 8 p.m. April 7 and 9 a.m. April 8. Complainant said the car contained a GPS, wine and various work receipts.

April 9, 2011

200 block Roxborough Ave. – 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe stolen between 2-7 p.m. April 9. Complainant has the car’s keys.

600 block Walnut Lane / Henry Ave. – complainant said two men approached him at around 1:10 a.m April 9 and robbed him at gunpoint. Offenders ran off with a Nike back pack, iPhone and $300. There were no injuries reported.

April 10, 2011

3900 block Manayunk Ave. – TomTom GPS and a Garmin GPS stolen from two cars between 4:30 p.m. April 9 and 3 p.m. April 10. A third car was broken into, but nothing was reported missing at the time of the report. The items were taken from a 2004 Lexus RX330 and a 2010 Toyota Prius. The third complainant owns a 2001 Jeep Wrangler.

400 block Krams Ave. – two IBM laptops, X-Box system and two Blu-ray DVDs stolen from the property between 3 p.m. April 9 and 10 a.m. April 10. Complainant said he had a party at the time of the incident.
