Great Expectations: The Citizens Convention

Nov. 27

For the last year, the Great Expecations project has invited people to dream about how they and their leaders can work together to make Philadelphia the Next Great City.

Great Expectations now presents the culmination of that effort.

The Citizens Agenda for Philadelphia’s Future brings together ideas from community members, best practices from other cities, and in-depth reporting by the Great Expectations team and contributors. It focuses on 12 issues that citizens identified during neighborhood forums held throughout the city. (Check out the issues below in-depth.) For each issue, the agenda includes an essay, a number-one priority, near-term actions, long-term efforts and citizen suggestions.
