032416graceRBFS Women’s Film series presents ‘Radical Grace’, March 31st

This uplifting documentary follows three fearless nuns who risk their standing in the Catholic Church to follow a higher calling: social justice. When the Vatican reprimands them —citing their “radical feminism”— they become the symbol of a struggle for the future of the Church. They challenge the outdated patriarchal system and ultimately win the hearts of Catholics worldwide. From their cross-country Nuns on the Bus tour, to serving those on the margins, to a continued struggle for women’s religious equality, these sisters are transforming American politics—and the Church itself. Cinema Art Theater, Lewes.
