18th Annual Delaware Head Start Conference

Educators from across the state are in Dover for the 18th Annual Delaware Head Start Conference.

Workshops at the day-long event on Delaware Technical and Community College’s Terry Campus will cover topics ranging from making smooth transitions to pre-school and kindergarten readiness to conflict resolution and parent-involvement strategies. The gathering also gives education providers an opportunity to share success stories and learn from best practices.

Acting Deputy Director of the Office of Head Start, Ann Linehan, is the keynote speaker. Delaware’s Education Secretary Dr. Lillian Lowery will also speak.
