The good news about books and publishing

Listen

The rise of e-readers and the closing of major bookstore chains certainly has challenged the book publishing industry, but the news around books is pretty good these days. Recent reports indicate that purchases are on the rise. This morning on Radio Times, guest host Tracey Matisak talks with  PETER OSNOS, founder and Editor-at-Large of  Public Affairs Books, about the book publishing industry, how and what we are reading and where we are getting our books. Then, it’s a busy Fall for readers with lots of exciting new fiction and non-fiction releases. Christian Science Monitor book editor MARJORIE KEHE joins us to talk about what she’s looking forward to reading.
