Writer ANNA QUINDLEN is on the verge of turning 60 and she says that one of the best part of getting older is that she just doesn't care what people think about her anymore. She's raised three children, was a columnist for both Newsweek and The New York Times, has written several novels and works of non-fiction, and has won a Pulitzer Prize. Her life has been filled with accomplishments and acknowledgements yet she says she "wouldn't be 25 again on a bet, or even 40." For Quindlen getting older means getting better. She can even do a headstand. In her new memoir, Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake, Anna Quindlen writes about marriage, parenting, girlfriends, mothers, faith, loss and all kinds of "stuff". She joins us in the studio to talk all about it.
