U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman
For 10 years, John Fetterman has been mayor of one of the country’s poorest cities — Braddock, Pennsylvania. In that time, Fetterman, a Democrat who looks more like an NFL lineman than a politician, has brought some measure of improvement to the former steel town.
Now, he’s aiming to help impoverished cities across Pennsylvania as a member of the U.S. Senate.
In the first in our series of conversations with Pennsylvania Democratic senate candidates, WHYY senior reporter Dave Davies speaks with Fetterman about his unique biography.
