The major party candidates vying to replace New Jersey Governor Chris Christie have in turn disclosed their Lieutenant Governor selections.

Republican candidate and current Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno named Carlos Rendo, mayor of Woodcliff Lake in Bergen County, and former Marco Rubio supporter. Democrat Phil Murphy selected Assemblywoman and former Speaker of the Assembly Sheila Oliver.
