Listen 00:48:44

Guest: Tim Flannery

World leaders are meeting in Paris at the end of the month for the United Nations Conference on Climate Change. They are trying to hammer out an international climate agreement that will keep carbon emissions and global temperatures in check. With this in mind, we asked Australian climate scientist TIM FLANNERY to join us to talk about what to expect from the Paris talks, and why he is still optimistic about tackling climate change. Flannery is the author of a number of books, including Weather Makers, Here on Earth and Among the Islands. His new book is Atmosphere of Hope: Searching for Solutions to the Climate Crisis.
