The Supreme Court, gun laws and guns

Listen

Guests: Paul Barrett and Richard Feldman

Earlier this week the Supreme Court upheld a federal law that bans the straw purchase of guns even if the final buyer is legally permitted to own a gun. The ruling was seen as a victory for gun control advocates. We’ll start off this hour talking about the decision with PAUL M. BARRETT, senior writer at Bloomerberg Businessweek and author of Glock: The Rise of an American Gun. Then RICHARD FELDMAN, president of the Independent Firearms Owners Association, joins us to share his perspective on the ruling and other efforts to legislate gun control.
