Last week, Senator Dianne Feinstein accused the C.I.A. of hampering her committee’s investigation of Bush Administration detention and interrogation activities. She said the C.I.A. improperly searched computers used by Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff members thus violating the constitutional principles of separation of powers. It’s a complicated story but raises serious questions about the balance of powers. McClatchy Newspapers’ JONATHAN LANDAY broke the story. He joins us in this hour of Radio Times to explain it all.
