The futility of Philadelphia’s pro sports teams

Listen 00:48:44

Guests: Sam Donnellon and John Quinn

Philadelphia’s professional sports teams have reached new lows this fall. In the month of November alone, the Sixers eked out a pitiful 0-19 record (in fact, they have only won once this season), the Eagles managed one measly win, the Flyers went well below .500, and the Phillies, well… their season didn’t even make it to mid-October. Today on Radio Times, we take a look at the sorry state of the city’s pro teams, how we got here, and the chances of a turnaround for the squads that are currently in season. We’re joined by SAM DONNELLON, sports columnist with the Philadelphia Daily News, and JOHN QUINN, the sports editor for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
