Senator Cory Booker joins us to talk about his new book “Stand,” which grew out of his record-breaking 25-hour Senate speech.

It’s about people who make a difference and the virtues that guide them, people like President George Washington, Congressman John Lewis, suffragist Alice Paul and Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and virtues like truth, agency, patriotism, humility, and perseverance.

Booker has long called out divisive politics and culture and his book is both a plea and guide for Americans to re-engage in democratic life.

We also discuss the war in Iran, DHS funding and the partial shutdown and his recent criticisms of Democratic leadership. Plus, what are his plans for 2028?
