Retaining Philly’s college students: A report card

Listen

Hour 1

The Philadelphia region graduates plenty of college graduates. But how is it doing in terms of keeping them here? What causes college graduates to stay, and what makes them leave? On today’s Radio Times, Marty welcomes DEBORAH DIAMOND, new president of Campus Philly, into the studio to discuss a report released this week that answers those questions, and suggests a curriculum for improvement. And we’ll also talk to STEVE WRAY, Executive Director of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, about the economic consequences of the region’s success or failure in retaining its college alumni.
